The meeting was convened at 7:00 pm by Kathy Ellis.

The minutes of the March and April meetings were approved.

Treasurer's Report

Jennifer Porter reviewed the April Treasurer's Report. $12,900 was invested
in Scudder portfolios. Further investment has been deferred until we
know the final expenditures for the WBA dinner.

Jennifer reported that the Judicial reception was a great success. There
were 338 attendees, including 93 judges and spouses. WBAF's grant for the
reception will be about $3100.

Rebecca Smith reported on the Hexagon fund-raiser. Based on a preliminary
accounting, it appears that we took in between $4700 -4800. Rebecca is
trying to do a final accounting for all tickets and needs to know the final
disposition of all tickets, and to receive checks from any board members
that did not sell their allotted tickets.

The April Treasurer's Report was unanimously accepted.

Retreat

We are planning a WBAF retreat for the Fall. Details to follow.

Fund-raising Committee

Susan Frank discussed the suggestion from the last meeting that WBAF seek
corporate donation as part of its Fund-raising efforts. Susan noted that
there is a lot interest in corporations regarding women's issues. She
