I. Introductions- Paulette introduced the new officers for this year, provided handouts
for the program budgets and one entitled Guidelines for Committee and Forum Chairs,
and explained that the updated Leadership Manuals are still a work in progress. All the
members present then introduced themselves.

II. Executive Director Status- Paulette reported that the WBA Board is close to making
a decision on a new Executive Director.

III. Young Lawyers Forum- Paulette reported that the WBA Board has approved the
creation of the Young Lawyers Forum. Past WBA Presidents and senior attorneys have
expressed an interest in meeting with young lawyers in an intimate setting to provide
guidance/mentoring. This new forum should explore those opportunities and seek to co-
sponsor events with other committees.

IV. Upcoming Events for 2003-2004-

      A. Summer Associate Event- The possibility of having such an event has
been discussed. If such an event were to occur, we would leave that to
               the Young Lawyers Forum.
