               MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S MEETING
                               Tuesday, January 10, 2006

I. The meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by President Diane Brenneman.

II. Approval of Minutes (Jennifer Duane - Secretary) - The Board reviewed the minutes of the
November 8, 2005 and December 13, 2005 meetings and proposed a few revisions. Motions were
made and seconded to approve the minutes of both meetings as revised. The minutes were
approved unanimously.

III. President's Report (Diane Brenneman) - End of Year Appeal - Diane reported that an email
blast to WBA members reminding them to consider the WBAF in their year-end charitable
donations was sent out toward the middle of December.

IV. Executive Director's Report (Nancy Long) - End of Year Appeal Results - Nancy reported
that the WBAF's End of Year appeal brought in $4975 from 12 donors. Martha and Joanne will
spearhead the WBAF's capital giving project, which the WBAF hopes to get underway this year.

Nancy distributed the WBAF's monthly financial statements for the Board's review. Nancy
indicated that the financial reviews of the Association and the Foundation were completed last year.

V. Committee Reports

      Wine Tasting - Ellen Jakovic and Consuela Pinto gave an update on the preparations for the
      event, scheduled for Thursday, January 26. The flyer has been circulated to the WBA
      membership through several email blasts. Susan Kovarovics provided notice of the event to
      the Legal Times and the DC Bar's International Law Forum. The program has also been
      publicized to members of the BADC. TrialGraphix has prepared poster boards for display at
      the tasting. Tracy Durkin is coordinating with Michael Franz and helping to procure the
      wine supplies from Arrowine, which is giving us a 20% discount. Capitol Catering will
      cater the event. Ellen indicated that WBAF members will be needed to help with wine
      pouring and set up for the silent auction. Linda, Diane, Paulette, Diana, Tracy, and Susan
      volunteered to serve as wine pourers. Consuela and Norma will set up the silent auction
      items. Nancy will handle checkout of the silent auction items. Diane will announce the
      door prize winners. The Board discussed the timing of the auction closing and when and
      how to announce the winning bidders. The Board decided to keep the bidding open until
