PROPOSED REVISION OF THE CODE
NEw YORK, July, 1907.
At a stated meeting of the Association of the Bar held on
the 14th day of May, 1907, Mr. Baird presented the following
resolution (which was adopted):
RESOLVED, That the Committee on the Amend-
ment of the Law be requested to investigate the sub-
ject of a revision of the Code of Civil Procedure, and
if, in their judgment, they consider it desirable that the
Code should be revised they are hereby empowered
to devise ways and means, and are instructed to use
their best efforts in bringing 'about a proper revision.
The Committee on the Amendment of the Law respectfully
solicit an expression of views by the. various members of the
Bar Association as to whether they favor or oppose a revision
of the Code of Civil Procedure, as suggested in the resolution.
If you are opposed to such a revision please briefly outline
your reasons. If you favor such a revision please suggest the
lines upon which you think the revision should be made.
