KAUFMAN The New York State Commission on the Administration of Justice has made the important announcement that it will, according to all expectations, soon issue its report and recommendations so that they may be considered by the 1934 Legislature and receive sufficient public consideration in advance. The announcement followed upon the de- mand of the City Club of New York for a prompt report, followed by con- siderable editorial comment in the press. Whether cr not the Commission has been hastened in its efforts by this public demand and whether or not the report would have been forthcoming, as announced, in any event, is of lit- tle importance. Important it is that the report is about to appear. The gates are being opened. Relief, or a plan for relief, is at hand. The administration of justice in New York State may take a new turn.
