  eral educational requirements
  to be exacted of candidates for
  Admission to the Bar.


MEMORANDUM SUBMITTED IN BEHALF
          OF  THE   PETITIONERS.

      A  memorial having been submitted by a
   'joint committee of the Association of the Bar
   of  the City of New York and the New York
   County  Lawyers' Association, petitioning the
   court  for the amendment of its. rules by in-
   creasing the general educational requirements
   to  be exacted of candidates for admission to
   the  Bar, the court will hold a public session
   at  the Court of Appeals Hall in the City of
   Albany  on the 4th day of March, 1927, at 10
   o'clock A. M., at which time argument will be
   heard  for and against the changes so pro-
   posed.
      Representatives of the bar association and
    of the law schools as well as any individuals
    interested in the subject are invited to par-
    ticipate.
