A SELECTED BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE WARREN- REPORT CRITIQUES
In the years following the assassinationof President Kennedy,
numerous articles and books appeared which reflected the anxiety of the
public in this country and abroad. The mystifying circumstances surrounding
the events in Dallas aroused speculation that Oswald might have been
involved with others in a conspiracy, and that he had been killed to
ensure that the real motives behind the assassination would remain undis-
covered. The case attracted dozens of independent investigatorsvas a
New York Times editor put it, of varying degrees 'of competence.
Although -this bibliography does not pretend to be 'exhaustive, it
is' a' representative :selection of the many Warren report critiques which
have been published over. the last. two years. The Tarlton Law Library has
almost all the books listed. Those still on order and expected imminently
are marked with an asterisk. Most of the periodicals nxd newspaper arti-
cles are available in the Tarlton Law Library and the Main University
Library. The articles in the December issue of Esquire represent a summing-
up and clarification of all the books and articles listed.
