EDITOR'S NOTES
W elcome to our first special issue We've
thrown in everything but the kitchen sink to
attract your interest because we hope to make the
PLL Newsletter a major communication source for
the PLL.
This issue is being mailed gratis to all AALL/PLL
members To receive the remaining issues of this
volume (#2, 3, 4), return the enclosed renewal
form. Send us your subscription! It's only $10/yr
and well worth it.
Next issue, look forward to an article by former
PLL Chair Catherine Pennington, about what we
can learn from our academic colleagues (which,
in light of our lead article on the PLL in the AALL
this month, is something we can make use of)
Also, thanks to all of you who wrote in after last
issue's plea for help I appreciate your efforts, and
if I haven't already contacted you, I will soon
