 Dear Micrographics/Audiovisual SIS Member:

In preparation for next year, I am sending you this short survey and subcommittee
preference form. It will help me to better plan the year's activities as well as help
to direct the future of the SIS. As you may know, the Micrographics/Audiovisual
SIS often overlaps in content and interests with other SIS's. I will work with the
respective incoming chairs of those groups to eliminate some of the confusion that
exists, and your comments on this survey will assist in that task.

Please plan to attend the two Micrographics/Audiovisual SIS meetings scheduled for
 Sunday, July 21, 4:00pm - 5:00pm and Tuesday, July 25, 7:15am - 8:15 am.
The Tuesday meeting will be devoted to the coming year's activities, including the
first opportunity for the subcommittees to meet and organize.

Audiovisuals, micrographics and the related new technologies are exciting,
developing areas and are becoming important aspects of our law libraries. Please
take a few minutes to answer this survey and help shape the future of our SIS.

                                       Sincerely,

                                       Merle J. Slyhoff
                                       Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect
                                       Micrographics/Audiovisual SIS
