Letter From the Chair
Trish Cervenka
Thank you to all of you who came to
the business meeting this summer in
Minneapolis. It was great to have
a good turnout and to get your ideas
on programs and SIS work. 39
librarians signed the attendance
sheet, but we know there were a few
more who popped in and out. Keep
your interest burning!
We had several people add their
names to committees and projects.

Please note the contest to design a
new logo. We are looking for some
fresh and exciting ideas so don't be
shy about your talents.
Now is the time to start thinking
about new projects for the SIS as
well as discussion ideas for the
time after the business meeting in
New Orleans. We know you all have
good ideas as the year moves along,
so jot them down and share them with
the group.
You also have the option of writing
some kind of thought-provoking
article for the newsletter to get an
exchange of ideas from the members
of reader services. This newsletter
is your forum so make use of it for
all your ideas.
