   Tonya Edmond, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Social Work at the George Warren
Brown School of Social Work (GWB) at Washington University in St. Louis. She is cur-
rently studying intervention approaches used within rape crisis centers to address PTSD
and substance abuse among sexual trauma survivors through the Comorbidity and Ad-
dictions Center at GWB. Wendy Auslander, PhD, is Professor of Social Work at the
George Warren Brown School of Social Work (GWB), Washington University in St.
Louis. She is also Associate Director of the Comorbidity and Addictions Center at GWB.
Dr. Auslander is currently studying the influence of mental health, substance and sexual
abuse on adolescent risk behaviors. Diane Elze, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Social
Work at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work (GWB), Washington Univer-
sity in St. Louis. Dr. Elze currently is studying substance abuse, comorbid mental health
problems, and HIV risk behaviors among gay, lesbian, and bisexual adolescents, through
the Comorbidity and Addictions Center. Sharon Bowland is currently a doctoral student
at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work (GWB), Washington University in
St. Louis.
