Richard G. Stoll Nominated New Section Chair

Clark Is Nominated for Chair-Elect
                                                  addition to serving on the SONREEL Council from 1985 to
                                                  1988, he has served as chair of SONREEL's Solid and
                                                  Hazardous Waste Committee, and the Water Quality
                                                  Committee, and was chair of the 1988 Annual Meeting
                                                  Program.
                                                    Dick has taught a course in environmental law and policy
                                                  at the University of Virginia for nine years. He is currently
                                                  serving on the Section Officers' Planning Committee
                                                  within the ABA.
                                                                         Nominee for Chair-Elect
                                                                         2. Robert W. Clark is a
                                                                         partner in the law firm of
                                                                         Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan,
                                                                         working in the Washington,
                                                                         D.C. office. He specializes in
                                                                         energy regulation and antitrust
                                                                         matters. Bob was chair of
                                                                         the 1989 Annual Meeting
                                                                         Program. He has been vice-
                                                                         chair and chair of the
                                                                         SONREEL Committees of
                                                                         Natural Gas Transportation
                                                                         and Marketing, and he
                                                                         currently serves as chair of
                                                                         the Publications Committee.

1. Richard G. Stoll is a partner in Freedman, Levy, Kroll
& Simonds in Washington, D.C. He practices
environmental law with an emphasis on the hazardous
waste area. Formerly he was assistant general counsel of the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Stoll has
published many articles and book chapters on
environmental law issues and speaks frequently on
professional programs. He has been a moderator on each
of the Section's live satellite teleconferences and has
moderated ABA videotapes on environmental law. In
