                           1. Edward S. Renwick is
                           a senior partner of Hanna
                           & Morton in Los Angeles
                           representing clients in
                           energy and environmental
                           matters. He has been asso-
                           dated with the firm since
                           1958. He is and has served
                           as an active member of the
                           Natural Resources Law
                           Section in various capa-
                           cities: Section Council
                           Member, Environmental
                           and Geothermal Law Com-
                           mittees and Section Mem-
                           bership Chair. He is also
a member of the ABA Sections of Litigation, Antitrust Law
and Corporation, Banking and Business Law. Mr. Renwick is
a member of the Los Angeles County Bar and the State
Bar of California as well as a Fellow of the American Col-
lege of Trial Lawyers.
  Mr. Renwick was admitted to the bar in 1959 and since
has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District
Courts for the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern
Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Ninth Circuit. He is a graduate of Stanford U. and
Stanford U. Law School.

2. Ernest C. Baynard III is currently Of Counsel to New-
man and Holtzinger in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining
that firm in September 1986, Mr. Baynard had been Dep-
uty General Counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission for 21/2 years. Prior to FERC, Mr. Baynard had
been Associate Solicitor for Surface Mining at the U.S.

  Mr. Baynard has served as Vice-CW*, of the NatuX

magazine, Natural Resources & Environment, and author of a
recently published treatise on public land law, Public
Land Law and Procedures.
  Mr. Baynard received his J.D. from Georgetown U. Law
School, where he was articles editor for the Georgetown
L.J. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Baynard served as a
naval officer in Viet Nam.


Nominee for Vice-Chair
3. Andrea Bear Field is a partner in the Washington, D.C.
office of Hunton & Williams, where she has an extensive
environmental and administrative law practice. She has
been active in the Natural Resources Law Section for the last
decade. Since 1984, she has been a member of the Section's
Council and has organized two nationwide Teleconferences
on Hazardous Waste Issues. Before that, she served as a
Vice-Chair and then Chair of the Air Quality Committee.
Since 1982, she has overseen production of the Section's
audio-cassettes, which cover current significant develop-
ments in environmental law.
