      0 2010, Dr. Michael Meehan. Michael Meehan received his J.D. with distinction from Stanford University and his Ph.D. in
computer science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under the tutelage of the Turing Award and National
Medal of Technology winner, Dr. Frederick P. Brooks, Jr. Dr. Meehan clerked for the Honorable Judge William Curtis Bryson of
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He was a researcher in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University as well
as research labs in Italy, Switzerland, and the U.S. He has several years of private sector experience in patent law and computer
science. He is currently an associate at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear LLP, focusing on patent law. The work and opinions
expressed herein are those of Dr. Meehan, not those of the court or Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, LLP, and do not reflect any
