Resumo Este artigo apresenta o Principio da Proibiqpo do Retrocesso com enfase na flexibilizaao da legislaao sobre o uso de agrot6xicos, buscando analisar os reflexos do Principio da Proibiqio do Retrocesso Socioambiental nos direitos fundamentais, notadamente a intangibilidade dos Direi- tos Humanos, ao conceito do principio da nao regressio e ao Estado Socioambiental de Direito. Ademais, visa compreender as consequencias do uso dos agrot6xicos no Brasil e seus respectivos efeitos ao direito a alimentaio, a saide e ao meio ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado, entre outros). O estudo identifica como a flexibilizaao da legislaao sobre o uso de agrot6xicos viola o Abstract This article presents the Principle of Prohibi- tion of Retrogression with emphasis on the ea- sing of legislation on the use ofpesticides. The objective is to analyze the reflexes of the Prin- ciple of Prohibition of Socio-environmental Retrogression to fundamental rights. Special emphasis was placed on the intangibility of Human Rights, the concept of the principle of non-regression and the Socio-Environmental Rule of Law.
