et General Motors of Canada Ltd. c. City National Leasing. Elle
constate que ces ddcisions s'inscrivent dans un contexte de libre
ichange et sont de nature & confirer une juridiction beaucoup plus
tendue au Parlement fiddral en matidre iconomique.


   In this article, the author analyses the judgements of the Su-
preme Court of Canada in R. v. Crown Zellerbach Canada Ltd. and
General Motors of Canada Ltd. v. City National Leasing. She notes
that these decisions, which took place in a free trade context, confer
upon the federal parliament a much wider jurisdiction in the econo-
mic field.
