1 This article was originally presented as a continuing legal education topic that analyzed
error-preservation under Nevada's old rules of civil procedure and before the creation of the
Nevada Court of Appeals. However, the article has been updated to include citation to Court
of Appeals opinions, where appropriate, and an analysis of the recently revised 2019 Nevada
Rules of Civil Procedure.
