    TRANSNATIONAL LEGAL PRACTICE AND CROSS-
                     BORDER CRIMINALITY

1.      Introduction
This  paper takes  a broad look  at cross-border  criminality, as well as
trans-national  legal practice, and  the relationship  between  the  two.
Transnational   legal practice has  quite a number   of dimensions: In
one  sense,  it can mean   practising  law  across  one's  own   national
jurisdictional boundaries.  In  another sense,  it could mean   engaging
in legal  practice before  international  courts/tribunals. And   yet, in
another  sense, it can also mean   setting  up   an  international  legal
practice  within  one's  own   national Jurisdictional boundaries.   This
paper, therefore,  seeks to examine  the topic from  each  of these three
dimensional perspectives. But it shall first examine the issue of
cross-border  criminality.


2.      Cross-border criminality
        ....there are certain crimes  which  are  stimulated by

    Child Protection Issues; Member, Nigerian National Child Rights Implementation
    Committee; Lagos State Child Rights Implementation Committee; etc.; being text of
