Dedication to an Honest Man
In the time of Alexander, Diogenes searched the streets of Athens,
endlessly, for an honest man. Today, Diogenes would find this rare
individual: Robert D. Evans.
In an illustrious career at the ABA that spanned 35 years, Robert D.
Evans, the Associate Executive Director, has run the ABA's
Washington DC office, directed the Governmental Affairs Office,
served as the Senior Manager who advocated for the Reporter
before the Board of Governors, and signed off on every major
Reporter initiative and expense. Bob will be retiring this March. We
dedicate this issue of the Reporter to him. His honesty, insights,
principles, and sense of humor will be missed by our Commission
staff and the entire DC office staff.
