FOREWORD

I am honored to have been asked to add these few words
to the beginning of the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Issue of the
Journal of Transnational Law & Policy. Over these first
twenty-five years of its life, the Journal has made us proud
of the depth and scope of the articles it has published. Thanks
go to Associate Dean for International Programs David Landau
for his service as faculty advisor to the Journal. Thanks also
go to our other international law faculty members, Fred Abbott,
Tahirih Lee and Fernando Tes6n. Thanks especially to these
faculty members, lawyers from other nations come to Florida
State to earn an LL.M. in American Law. In the process, these
lawyers enrich all our lives in general and the Journal in
particular. Last and by no means least, nothing would have
been accomplished without a dedicated group of students. It is
their dedication, enthusiasm and talents that have made the
Journal the great success it is. We are all in their debt.
