The Chief Justice said:
I have the honor to announce, on behalf of the Court, that the Octo-
ber 2011 Term of the Court is now closed, and the October 2012 Term
is now convened.
Today's orders of the Court have been duly entered and certified,
and filed with the Clerk.
APPEALS-SUMMARY DISPOSITIONS
No. 11-1127. Christine Radogno, in Her Official Capacity as Minor-
ity Leader of the Illinois Senate, et al., Appellants v. Illinois State
Board of Elections, et al. On appeal from the United States District
Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Judgment affirmed.
No. 11-1404. Vandroth Backus, et al., Appellants v. South Carolina,
et al. On appeal from the United States District Court for the District
of South Carolina. Judgment affirmed.
CERTIORARI-SUMMARY DISPOSITIONS
No. 11-1411. Earle Giovanniello, Petitioner v. ALM Media, LLC. On
petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Court of Appeals
for the Second Circuit. Petition for writ of certiorari granted. Judg-
ment vacated, and case remanded to the United States Court of Ap-
peals for the Second Circuit for further consideration in light of 31ims
v. Arrow Financial Services, LLC, 565 U. S. -- (2012).
No. 11-1458. Michael L. Campbell, Petitioner v. United States. On
petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Court of Appeals for
the Seventh Circuit. Petition for writ of certiorari granted. Judgment
vacated, and case remanded to the United States Court of Appeals for
the Seventh Circuit for further consideration in light of Dorsey v.
United States, 567 U. S. -- (2012).
No. 11-1491. Montgomery Blair Sibley, Petitioner v. Supreme Court
of the United States, et al. Petition for writ of certiorari to the United
States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Because
the Court lacks a quorum, 28 U. S. C. § 1, and since the only qualified
