Abstract: This open journal is the result of collaborative efforts among colleagues within the
field of library and information sciences. Our second issue contains more varied content than
in the first. We have ourfirst international content - a photo essay on Mobile Libraries in
Portugal. We offer that essay in both English and the author's native Portuguese. We also have
articles on the use of VR headsets in information literacy instruction; 3D printing, emergency
preparedness, faculty perceptions of academic social networking, library competencies, and a
number of edifying book reviews.

We are committed to publishing a multitude of viewpoints, encouraging dialog, and at times,
provoking our readers to think and respond.

Keywords: librarianship, open access, scholarly communications, library as publisher
