MISSION   STATEMENT


    Founded in 1997, THE  JOURNAL  OF LAW  IN SOCIETY is a student-
managed  publication of Wayne State University Law School that provides
scholarly discourse on the intersection of law and society. Each year, the
JOURNAL  identifies a range of issues affecting Detroit and other parts of
the world and then publishes articles from authors both inside and outside
the legal community that address those issues within their social context.
By way of research and scholarship, the JOURNAL aims to connect Detroit
to broader national and international discourse, as well as serve as an
educational and practical tool for its audience.

                IDENTIFICATION STATEMENT


    THE JOURNAL   OF LAW  IN SOCIETY (ISSN  1538-5876) is published
twice annually by students of Wayne State University Law School. The
subscription rate for one volume (two issues) beginning with Volume 15
       is $25.00 per year. The rate for single issues is $15.00 per issue.
       Subscriptions are on a prepaid basis; no subscriber will receive the
 JOURNAL  until their account is paid. The JOURNAL will notissue refunds.
