 The  main environmental problem  of the twenty-first century is climate change,
 which has received a lot of attention and discussion at global level. It is expected
 to have an adverse, permanent  effect on the planet and its environment. South

                                 Introduction

Climate change is form of Non-Traditional security threats which is increasing with
each passing day  is a reality in South Asia and its impacts are starkly evident.
According to a report by the United Nations Development Programmed, South Asia
is the most climate-vulnerable region in the world. In the last 20 years, South Asia
has been affected by more than 100 natural disasters such as floods, droughts, and
heat waves. The  impacts of climate change in South  Asia are far-reaching. The
region is home to some of the most densely populated countries in the world and is
already facing a range  of environmental  challenges such as  deforestation, air
pollution, water scarcity, and soil degradation. According   to data from  the
