Dear Reader,



        On  behalf of the Editorial Board and Staff of the Journal of Health &
Biomedical Law, I am pleased to present Volume XVI, Issue 1, the first issue to be
published under the current editorial board.

        As one of the country's preeminent academic journals in the area of health and
biomedical law, the Journal of Health & Biomedical Law is a flourishing publication,
consistently offering important and cutting-edge contributions to this exciting, fast-
paced, and ever evolving field. Without exception, each issue of the Journal of Health &
Biomedical Law  is comprised of scholarship on the cutting edge of the field and tackles
important questions. This issue is comprised of diverse topics, a marker that defines the
Journal of Health & Biomedical Law.
        I would like to thank the faculty advisor of the Journal of Health and
Biomedical Law, Professor Landers, and the hardworking Editorial Board and Staff for
their hard work, commitment, and unwavering dedication to producing top of the line
