International Zeitschrift (IZ) is a journal for dialogue and legal analysis of current events with an inter-
cultural depth and sensitivity. We also feature historical content that can help us better understand the
events we witness and, sometimes, experience in the present. The goal of the journal is to encourage a more
clear understanding of what lies behind, within, and ahead of the world's political, legal, cultural, and social
events. While we feature articles written by a number of legal academics on various topics, we also accept
article submissions from professors and students of any discipline. If you have an article or story which
figures into the international discussion alluded to above, we welcome your submission. IZ aim's for
diversity of content within the context of international news and events. Our end goal is to help make
people better educated about the interplay between the law, international events, and the philosophies and
ideologies which give rise to them.
