Honorable Paul Warnke to
Address Section
Leonard J. Theberge, Esquire, Divisional Vice-
Chairman for the General Committees, announced
that the Honorable Paul C. Warnke, Director of the
U.S. Arms Control and Dis-
armament Agency, has agreed
to address the joint luncheon of'
the Section of International
Law and the American Society
of International Law on Thurs-
day, April 27, 1978, which will
be held at the Capitol Hilton
Hotel in Washington, D.C. As
chief negotiator for the SALT
agreements, Ambassador Warnke will be able to
bring the Section of International Law and the
American Society of International Law up to date on
the developments in that important field. (For infor-
mation on the ABA National Institute on Human
Rights to be held in Washington. D.C.. prior to the
Section's Spring Meeting and the American Society's
annual meeting see page 3.)
Editor-in-Chief Sought for
The International Lawyer
At the Midwinter Meeting of the Council an Ad
Hoc Screening Committee was appointed to search for
an editor-in-chief and two associate editors-in-chief
for The International Lawy5,er. The persons selected
for these positions will take office at the August 1978
Annual Meeting and will serve two-year terms. The
Ad Hoc Screening Committee is chaired by Joseph P.
Griffin and includes Henry T. King, Jr. (Chairman of
Ohw Section of International Law), Don Wallace, Jr.
(Chairman-Elect of Section), and Leonard J.
Theberge (Divisional Vice-Chairman).

Any person desiring to be considered or to recomi-
mend others for consideration for these positions
should contact Mr. Grillin at 1815 H Street, N.W.,
Washington, D.C. 20006 or any of the other members
of the committee. Applicants may specifyv. if' they so
desire, the position for which they are applying.
