Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

We are very excited to welcome you all to the seventh volume of The Arbitration
Brief. The Arbitration Brief is a student publication of the American University
Washington College of Law. The Arbitration Brief aims to become a leading academic
publication for arbitration-related matters in the United States and abroad.

The Arbitration Brief is an entirely student-run organization. We publish articles
submitted by professors, arbitrators, practitioners, and students alike. All articles are
selected, edited, and published by the Brief's editorial board and staff.

The Arbitration Brief would like to thank the authors of this issue for their patience,
responsiveness, and cooperation with our editorial board throughout the editing process.
The Arbitration Brief would also like to thank Professor Horacio Grigera- Na6n, Dr.
Bjorn Arp, and Susana Castiglione for their continuous support and encouragement. The
Arbitration Brief would like to express its deep gratitude to the International Center on
Commercial Arbitration, without which this publication would not have been possible.
Last of all, I would personally like to thank the Brief's staff for their exceptional editing
and tireless work ethic that has culminated in this issue.

Please explore our website for more information about The Arbitration Brief. If you
have any questions, please feel free to reach out to arbitrationbrief@wcl.american.edu.
