Vivas kArgentine Republic), and the Officers*..
I believe that I express the sentmpent of all members when I
state how grateful we are to the retiring officers for their activities
during the first three years of tle A68oittioos existenbe.
During the last two months, I have met with the other Officers
and Professor Landheer, the Editor of our Bulletin. We discussed plans
for the future work of the Association. These plans require implementatomn
by the Board of Directors and the membership.
Our foremost intention is to enlarge to scope and the size of
the Bulletin. Dr.Landheer will outline his plans to you on another page
of this issue.
We are also continuing with oui' plans for the international, I
exchange of law librarians. When this issue goes to press, two European
law librarians will have started exploring law library methods in the
United States of America as temporary staff members in outstanding
libraries. No doubt, you will hear from them in future. issues. 'We are
always happy to receive suggestions for international exchanges from law
librarians who would like to go on study and work assignments abroad, and
from law libraries which are willing to receive foreign law librarians.' t
How interesting a visit or work in a law library in another
country can be, was brought out when your Vice-President, Treasurer alid-
I visited various European law libraries this past summer. What are the
law library problems and solutions which you encounter on such a visit?
