RIZER III+ Stereotypes abound when talking about political affiliations. One of those stereotypes is that conservatives are pro- death penalty.' While this pigeonhole may seem true,2 the question of this article is whether it should be. INTRODUCTION This Article's intention is to scrutinize the relationship and conflict between the values of conservatism and capital punishment.
