ROCKY MOUNTAIN MINERAL LAW REVIEW
                             Published by
THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN MINERAL LAW FOUNDATION

The various law reviews contain much original literature on
mining, oil and gas law and taxation that is not available to the
profession in any other form. As a practical matter, most attor-
neys do not have the opportunity to use this material because
they do not know of its existence or do not have access to most
of the various periodicals. With the publication of the first issue
of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Review the Foundation
hopes to fill this gap in the libraries of attorneys concerned with
oil and gas and mineral law and taxation.

The first issue of the review contains reprints of selected
articles published during 1962 and the first half of 1963, abstracts
of other articles, and indices of all mineral law literature pub-
lished during this period. The Review will be published semi-
annually, with subsequent issues covering all mineral law litera-
ture published in the preceding six-month period. The next issue
of the Review will be distributed early in 1964.

This publication has been inaugurated solely as a service
to those persons wishing to keep informed on all literature affect-
ing oil and gas and mining law and taxation. Constructive
     comments will be gratefully acknowledged.
