Editors' Note

In case you have not noticed, the format of Family and Conciliation
Courts Review has changed, and the journal is now being published through
Sage Publications, Inc.
At the May 1990 meeting in Winnipeg, the Board of Directors entered
into a 5-year contract with Sage, a publisher of over 65 journals and 140
books annually with offices in California, London, and New Delhi. We, as
editors, are very pleased with this decision. You, as readers, will experience
the following benefits:

    1. You will now receive four issues per year.
    2. Because the journal is now a quarterly, you will receive information in a more
      timely manner.
    3. You will be part of a much larger community of ideas regarding family courts
and related issues because circulation will be greatly expanded.

One item remains the same. We need your ideas, new programs, and
projects sent to us as articles. The journal will only be as good as our
community of shared interests. We hope you are as pleased as we are with
the new format and direction in which we are going.
