14 Television station could not arbitrarily refuse to air re-
    tailer's commercials, but jury award of $50,000 for breach
    of contract is reduced to $17,500 by Federal Court of
    Appeals


14 Canadian court rules that Ontario Board of Censors may
    not censor or prohibit the exhibition of films in the
    absence of statutory guidelines
15 Video programs may be copyrighted, but substantial
    similarity of expression - not merely ideas - is neces-
    sary to prove infringement
16 Judgment denying copyright infringement claim of
    licensee for Paddington Bear merchandise is reversed;
    derivative sketches of bear were sufficiently original for
    copyright protection, and verbal licensing arrangement
    may have been memorialized in writing as required by
    Copyright Act
17 Libel action filed one year and two days after shipment of
    30,000 copies of book Love Signs was barred by statute
    of limitations.
