We are pleased to announce that Constitutional Political Economy is moving, with
immediate effect, to a web-based system of manuscript submission and processing
that should benefit all authors, reviewers (and editors) of the journal.
The new system, known as Editorial Manager, allows authors to submit original
and revised manuscripts, editorial staff to send manuscripts out for peer review,
reviewers to conduct reviews and return comments, and editors make decisions,
notify authors and process accepted papers for publication. Editorial Manager offers
easy and straightforward log-in and submission procedures and enables authors to
track the progress of their manuscript through the review process. Over 2,000
journals are currently using Editorial Manager and many of them have seen an
increase in the number of submissions and a significant decrease in the average
number of days from manuscript receipt to decision and final publication.
The new system is now fully operational and all new submissions to the journal
should be made through Editorial Manager-however, those papers that are already
in process will continue to be dealt with in the traditional way. To submit a paper to
Constitutional Political Economy using the electronic submission system, please go
to http://www.editorialmanager.concpe/ and follow the instructions on the screen,
you will need to register before you can submit a paper.
We look forward to receiving your papers.
