W hat accommodations should be made by
law schools for students with learning
disabilities? How does one compute
residency credit to assure compliance with Standard
305? What changes have occurred in the annual
questionnaire? What is new in the foreign study
program arena? These are some of the issues that
will be discussed in the Associate and Assistant
Deans Workshop sponsored by the Section of Legal
Education and Admissions to the Bar.
The workshop has been planned for June 15-16,
1993 at the University Place Hotel and Conference
Center in Indianapolis. The main focus of the
workshop is to help those law school administrators
who are in charge of completing the annual ques-
tionnaire to prepare for the new academic year.
There will be significant changes in the question-
naire this year; changes which, in the long run, will
make filling it out much less time consuming and
less costly.
Items pertaining to the annual questionnaire to be
considered include faculty, administrative, librarian
and part-time profiles discussed by chair of the
conference planning committee Associate Dean
Peter Winograd of the University of New Mexico;
and new financial and budget reports, reviewed by
Dean Steven R. Smith of Cleveland-Marshall School
of Law.
After the preview of the new aspects of the annual
questionnaire takes place, the workshop will shift its

Building Information
he Conference on Law School Facilities held
at Ohio State University College of Law in
March featured the first-ever Law School
Facilities Reference Book. The reference book was
created from a database of information submitted by
law schools about their physical facilities. Included
in the reference book is information on some 130
law schools and nearly 100 photographs.
The Law School Facilities Reference Book
contains information about the year and cost of
construction of the original law school building and
any subsequent additions or renovations; the total
square footage of the building and how that square
footage is used, and the name of the architect(s)
involved in the design of the building. Question-
naire respondents were encouraged to include
