Public Service Projects to Be Presented
Continuing the impetus of last year, the regional
leadership conferences will have a double focus. First, a
considerable emphasis will be placed on presenting to
the representatives of young lawyer organizations affili-
ated with the ABA-YLS a description and explanation of
various public service projects. Some of the projects will
be those developed and conducted on a national level by
YLS, and others will be outstanding single projects of
affiliated young lawyers sections. Each nuts and bolts
project presentation will discuss how a project can be
implemented by young lawyers at the state or local level.
In addition to oral presentations, written material on
each of the projects will be available at the meeting. An
ABA/YLS officer, director, or project chairperson will
be available to discuss projects with individual Affiliate
representatives.
Leadership Exchange Encouraged
The exchange of ideas and projects among the Affiliate
representatives will be the other focal point for leader-
ship conferences. The considerable portion of the
agenda set aside for Affiliate discussions and meetings
undoubtedly will be one of the highlights of this year's
program.
For more detailed information concerning the region-
al conference in your area, you may contact David

II, or any one of the co-directors, John Easton, Stowe,
VT; Thomas Hayward, Chicago, IL; Jacob Landry, New

addition, more detailed information will be sent to the
chairperson of your state or local affiliate by your new
representative on the Executive Council.
