                             1.  Richard Gibson, while employed by the Colabia .rodcating gstem,
                        and a fellov colleague Robert Taber established the Fair Play for Cuba
                        Committee (FPCC) in April 1960. Subject vas fired fron his job with Cs
                        because of his activities with FPCC. The parent orsanization of FPCC is
                        the Institute for the 3Xprovement of Inter-American Relations. Subject was
                        President of the Now York Chapter of the FPCC and became Acting National
                    E   Zwcutive  Secretary of FMC when Robert Taber vent to cabs in Jsnuary 1961.               tt
                        Subject in his role as Acting Ezecutive Secretary was in contact with many
                        parsonalities fron such organizationn as Socialist Workers Party, C9USA,
                        mroe   Defense Comaittee, the Comittee to Aid tho 3nroe Deferadentnj etc.
                        (cee attacent).   Subject was also accredited to the United Nations as
                        correspondent covering 1K affairs for the Cuban newspapers El Mundo and
                        Revolution.  While a member of the 17CC, he travelled In 2 3 end 1961
                        tQ Cba  (specific dates unknoin) and has met Fidel Castro, Ernesto Guevara
                        and various other Cuban officials.

                             2.  abject was involved with the kmaroe Defense iAmittee which is

                        acquainted vith Robert William, the American Negro from onroey North
                        Carolina, who emigrated to Cuba. Subject resigmed fron the 17CC in the

                [       -    3.  In late 1962, subject was recnomended by the Algerian Ambassador
                        to the U4ited Nations (name not given) to be on the staff of Revolution
                        Africaine in Algiers, a paper which was then edited by Jacques Verges a
                        ih-lWm Cotwttnist. When   Verges was outted by the Algerians because of
                        a dispute with Ben Bella in May 1963, Subject renained loyal to Verges and
                        set vp henaqarters in Laausanne for the publication of Africa, Latin America
                        Asia Revolution, sore omonly kova  as Revolution, and served as editor of
                        its  1Engish-1nnguage version. This publication vas characterized as being
                        transparently a vehicle for spreading Chinese Cneumint opinions on international
                        and world Co.xmist problems. Gibson while in Lausanne worked with Fredy
                        Gilbert Nils Anderson, Swedish citizen, editor-publisher, who printed the
                        Revolution. Anderson has been kaomp to have ntmdwous contacts in international
