Additional information furnished by Berta FERRER to Source re capture of MDC group in Cuba: a. The MDC genral coordinator in Cuba uses war names Abel amnt Omar. b. The informant who passed previous info to brother- in-law of Berta FERRER also stated that he travelled by car from Oriente to Havana just before leaving Cuba and that he saw a lot of army equipment, con- sisting of tanks and heavy trucks, near Mayari, Cuba. 2.i'LUCAS, the fiend of the jMDC faction under the CRC, told Source iat he had spoken with 'Olga in Cuba on 3 Feb 63 and she said the younger people had beghi captured but not the older people. LUCAS took this to mean that the leaders had not been captured. 3. Dr. MIRO Cardona's secretary, Nena informed A-1 that LUCAS passed on to her the news that LUCAS had hard on 9 Feb 63 of the capture and imprisonmentof.Olg in Havana, along with other MDC lcdders throughout the island.
