MM T-1, who has been Involved in Cuatan Revolutionary
activities for the past six years an:. wro has furnished
reliable information in the past, ^n December 2, 1962,
advised that a 35-foot Chriscraft motorboat, the Sally,
*as rented in Miami on December 2, 19:2, for ese by Gerald
Patrick Hemming, an American advenurr ani soldier of
fortune.
MM T-1 explained that Femming and his asscciates,
about thirteen American mercenaries any adventurers, had
raised $200.00 to put down on this boa. as a deposit.
On the afternoon of December 2, 1962, the boat
left Miami en route to Marathor., Florida, uhere it will
be tied up at Edward Germain's Docak, 1caded and outfitted
for a military expedition.

Hemming and thirteen of his American associates, mercenaries
and adventurers, plan to leave Marath.-, Florida, for a
military operation againat Cuba. After they land in Cuba
they will split up into different grapp. conduct commando
raids and thereafter leave Cuba by stealing a Cb.tan fishing
boat and going to Cay Sal, Bahama Islands, Just north of
Cuba. From there they plan to obtain rransporta;±on back
to the United States.
MM T-1 advised that Hemming rlanned to take
automatic weapons on this military ex:±ition and had
already obtained one Thompson sub-machine gun.
