On 3 September 1965 at about 1030 AMI UP/1 called me as Mr. Wills) from New Yolk to say that he had had a call from 06 io aying that iGLESIA )ras leaving for Europe Next Sunday 5 Sept) and would like to see A/1 in Europe. He said there was no indication what( GLESI)vished to see him about. 2. A/l added thatMarzo>said Pepin NARANJO, who is the equivalent of the Mayor of Havana, was also going to Europe, leaving Cuba sometime during the week of 5 September. He thought NARANJO would go to Italy but had no other detailp. 3. A/1 also mentioned that.arzo)said that the man at the hospital (AMLASH/1) was well---no elaboration. 4. In reply to a query about any further conversation with AMLASH/2 in Madrid, A/1 said he had talked to a woman who lives with him n.'ad that AMLASH/1 was interested in the same old thing---i.e. getting money from A/l. 5. A/1 said he now plans to leave for Puerto Rico on business about 4 September and that he will call me on his return during the week of 5 September.
