         1.  Forwarded  for Station's information  are the results  of
     Subject's debriefing  subsequent to her  appearance before  the Senate
     Subcomi'tee   and additional comments made  to the case officer  doing
     the debriefing.

         2.. The Subcommittee  hearings, according  to Subject,  lasted
     approximately  four hours.  The members  appeared to be interested  in
     four main points:

             a.   AREVALO's book, The Snark  and The Sardines,  and
     particularly  in whether it was financed  from Luba; and what  Subject
     knew about  the publisher, Lylo Stuart;

             b.  Her  connections with the  Fair Play for Cuba  Committee;
                 VU.*- + - eq   V  nf snv connection between the Cuban
     C( and recently  publicized narcotics  traffic in Miami;

             d.   Subject's general background  and activities  in Cuba.

         3.  Subject  stated that she had  given the subcommittee  certain
     papers she  had concerning the book  and had given them what  informa-
     tion shq had  concerning the author  and the publisher.   She informed
     the Subcommittee  that she was not  a member of the Fair  Play Committee
     but was. in contact with Richard  GISSON and other mem:ars  of the
     +`.-----e- .   b-t----- td the q,%hrnu ittee that she was Lot aware
     of any connection  between the Cuban  CP and narcotics  entering Miami.
     She gave  them her general background  and told them of  her work in
     Cuba; she  said that her employment  record apparently  so confused-
     the Subcommittee  that they did not  press for additional  details;
     and she was  t_   2hable to avoid any direct questions which uight
     have proved  embarrassing regarding  Per connections with  us.;

         4.  Subject  said (to the case  officer debriefing  her) that she
     has written  letters to Hubert H.  Humphry, DelessepsMorrisnn4   and
