recently fled to the United =tates and is presently reziding in New
York City. Subject, prior to his arrival in the U. Z., wvs professionally
occupied an a -riter and radio and television cor ntator. He is a
well-knovn persality in Cuba.
Subject was contacted by Mr. Joseph Vidal, CI/Staff, vbo debriefed -
Subject and obtained P infu rtion. Subject is being considered as
a possible FP asset by thin .gency.

1. A polyGrph interview was earraned-'or Subject at the request
of Mr. J. Vidal on 12 May 196) at a covert site in 4ashington, D. C.
The interview anid testing took place fr= 1430 to 1630 hours. Mr. Joseph 0.

2. Prior to testing, the undersignei.reviewed the test questions
