1. AVWWIP/1 -q met by the case officer (usin' the name Vr. Wills)

2115 until 23304   on 15 September.  The second took place at the
Taft Hotel and lasted from 1315 until 1430.
2. A/1 was told that we had no 1rpecific assi-aments for him on his
forthcoming business trip to Europe andl that he was not to edM##N
initiate contact with officers at any of or (stations)  He was in-
structed to send a cable to tohn A. Breitheim, 6192 Apex Station,
Washington, D.C. saying where he could te contacted if he should
learn anythinr important andfimely, such as the whereabouts of Che
Guevara. It was also agreed that he could send an airmail letter
to the same address if he should acquire #&f##k#information that was
perishd.ble but could safely be sent by mail. In either case he would
sibn correspondence Francisco.
3. A/1 plans to depart for Europe about 20 September and to remain there
three to four weeks before returning to New York. He plans to go
first to Italy and spend a week to ten days in Rome and Milan.. ',e
will then probably proceed to Geneva. He may or may not go to Paris,
where he has no specific business.   He plans to go to Iadrid for a day
or two, not on business, but to see relatives who are there awaiting
visas to the united States.
