    1,rI  AHMmP'   telephone call to the undersigned was re-
    tund1600, 12 January,  ANWHIP advised that be bad called
 to inforn us that he had just finished a half hour conver-
 antiont with AML&SR/l in Geneva, AML&H  stated that he vould
 be In Geneva Until Sunday at which time he wuld  return to
 Paris,  Ue plans now to return to PBRU1I  some tim  during
 the first week Of 1eOUa~ry.  NO also stated that he wold
 like to have another conversation with AM.EIDDy '1 before he
 (ANlABH) returns voe   and requested AMVH~p to ma., ze the
 necessaxy arrangements.  AWASH  also stated that he desired
 AWHIP/1  to be present at this meeting,
      2,  AMIHIP stated that he wa not sure  that It me a
 good Idea for AIUABH and A1nimy  to meet again, AMWHP  did
 not elaborate on this Point and we did not discuss it further
 On the telePhOne,  The Undersigned however told Carlos that,
 On the contrary, he could not see any obj~ection to the meeting
 and in fact, cons idering a great number of detai]ls left un,
 touched at their earlier meeting which was Probably necessary
 for then to meet again, hMwHip/J did not contest this so
 apparently his position Vags meely one of caution and he
 sought guidance en the point,
     3,  ANWHIP/l stated that he was- prepared to return to
Europe at any time we desired.  He asked only that he be given
4 or 5 days advanced notice,  We thank~ed him for this effort
and also inormed  him that 'Nick would also want to return
to Surope for meetings with AMIA8H,
     4,  hWHMPfl  mws told that he would be contacted either
telephonically or personally by the undersigned prior to his
~tr to Europe.
