Guillermo ARASTAGUIA, pseudonym 2en, is the chief of the Department of Technicz.l Operati;onal Support (MI) in the Direccion General do Inreli;encia (General Directorate of RETURN CIA Intelligence - DGI). 11e was for=crtly the secretary of Background Use C hy RF.miro VALDES in the Dep.arta;:ento de Seguridad del Estado DoNotReprouuce (Department of State Security - DSE), but ARASTAGUIA was a . follower of -Anibal ESCALAX':E and because of a problem concerning ESCALANTE and beeause ARASTAGUIA was believed to lbo a homosexual, VALDES transferred him to the DGI. ;RASTAGUIA went to the Youth Festival in Helsinki as a representative of the DGI and has traveled to Moscow three times. 2. A..ST.:GUIA was born in 1934, is about five feet seven inches in height, has blond hair and green ees. He is fat, has a chin that juts out, lips that are somewhat sunken, ad has a rather high pitched voice and seems effeminate. *3* :7eadcuarto-s Comments 1.
