                           Saturday - 4 February 1978


           1.  (Unclassified - LLM) LIAISON Talked with Bob Thomson,
     White House Congressional Liaison staff, concerning the Wednesday
     -target date for the swearing-in of Ambassador Carlucci as DDCI and
     the bind we are getting into. He will talk to Stan Kimmitt, Secretary
     of the Senate, to see what can be done and let us know the results.

           2. (Unclassified - PLC) LIAISON Together with Lyle Miller,
    met with Professor G. Robert Blakey, Chief Counsel and Director, House
    Select Committee on Assassinations, and reviewed Mr. Miller's letter to
    William Miller, Staff Director, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which
/   Mr. Blakey approved.  Blakey brought with him a letter setting forth an
    addendum to the House Select Committee on Assassinations Nondisclosure
    Agreement to cover information derived from the review of the Senate Select
    Committee on Intelligence transcripts. We informed Blakey that we would
    clear the letter Monday morning with appropriate CIA offices, but contemplated
    no problems.
           Blakey also reviewed the Ramirez tra  tion folder.
