MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD:

SUBJECT:  Report of Telephone Conversation with Shirley Stetson,
          DO/OS - Operations Support Branch

     1.  Shirley  Stetson, DO/OS Operations Support Branch telephoned
the undersigned at approximately 1630 hours 17 March 1964 and  reported
the following:

         a.  Q0 Report B-3,212,967 had a joint source.  The  individual
         referred  to as a college graduate was Miss Rita NAMAN,
         596 Attardeg Road, Solvang, California.  The  individual
         referred  to as an older companion was Mrs. Monica F.
         KRAMER, P.O. Box 985, Solvang, California.

         b.  Mrs. Kramer volunteered 160 color slides of  the trip.
         Out of this number only 5 were copied by CIA Graphics
         Registry.  All 160 color slides were returned to Mrs.
         Kramer.  Only 4 or 5 of the total were of the Minsk area.

         c.  Miss NAMAN volunteered one reel of 8 mm. colored movie
         film of the trip.  Some of this movie film was shot  in Minsk.
         It was reviewed by Graphics Registry and evaluated as being
         of no value.  No copies were retained by the Agency and
         the original was returned to Miss Naman.

     2.  Shirley Stetson also said that she had contacted  the 00
Field Office in Los Angeles and had informed the office of  the back-ground
of the case and of the fact that the FBI will be requested  to follow
through in contacting sources of B-3, 212,967.  The Field Office
offered no objections.

     3.  Shirely Stetson also advised that she had discussed  the case
with her division chief and that he had no objection to having  the FBI
follow through on contacting the two sources.

     4.  Shirely Stetson said that her division had no objection  to
providing the FBI with a copy of 00-B 3,212,96
