               SUBJECt   Meetingo with Miro Cardona and 77on 5 and 6 April 1961



                    1.   n Wednesday, 5 April- 1961, Miro Cardona acccopanied by Mr.
               came to        ton for a meeting with Mesars. Berle, Bonaal, Schleanger  and
               Bod1.         k   Droller were briefed by Miro Cardona on this meeting in
               the late     mooan of that day in the Shoruham Hotel auite.

                    2. Xio,   who came to the DrollerV     ineting accapanied by Carles
               Pind, was much depresseds  He said that Berlo and bin friends seemed to
               promote a Fidoliamb  inridol  line; they are all the way to the loft

               said, Do cot worry, once I have my foot fimy  cu the ground I knov precisely
               ubat needs to be donej up until then I make a 180 deGree turn and I am
               more left than they are. Piro then advised   7  and Droller that Mr.
               Berlo had ouggoated that he, Miro, get together  th Mr. John Plant--
               PatIaLest Sciantist at Harvard--for the purpoe of having the latter  aist
               him in drafting.the proclamation of the Revolutionary Cuncil.  Accerding
               to Miro he was rather luke warn to the proposal and sold ha would see if
               he needed the chap's services.

                   3.  Miro advised that another completely private meeting had been
              sche&abb  for him by Mr. Berlo on the afternoon of 6 April.

                   4.  In the evening hours of.6 April      and Droller net again with
              )iro fur the purpose of:

                       a.  Obtaining Miro's report on the aforeaentioned meeting with
                   Mr. Berle, and

                       b.  Briefing Miro on specific publicity lines Miro was to take
                   during the forthcmAing weeks.
