1, On Tuesday morning, 14 November 1961, I contacted Mr.1 -or
ES Strision, who is still the senior case officer for the MVIslea Case, and
inquired of him whether the source had over been questioned on his possible
knowvledge of the FIE= Case. Mr. 7 advised that he did not believe that

facts of the coae vers pretty unch as revealed at the tie of Earman FILD's
release fram custody in 19511 (?), and that he had never heard any indications
from source'a Soviet Intelligence Contacts to indicate that any of the F1.Js
had been involved In intellience operations for the Soviets. Mr. [ ]advised
that be had run through a nimber of the individual names vith source, including
the names of frike LASER, Nerta MIL, lsie 1. MIla sa Esie 1. 0OB, and
Joseph lAo MOD, and that BBYISION had tailed to react to any of these nsa,
and was unable to provide any information whatsoever.
