A. report dated 28 Octobcr 1959, from a fairly reliable source stated that the Cuban -overnment was planning to purchase as many as 100'.JG-18's and included in the purchasing mission were Cesar AIARCON Fonseca. a Cuban aviation conpany pilot and protege of Major Raul CASTRO Ruz, and Captaan Victo- PIN4 Ca-dodo, an officer of the Fuerzas Aereas Revolucionarias (Cuban Revolutionary Air Force - FAR). 2.
